Miranda Vavrosky Is Our Artist Spotlighted In The QuadCities.com Virtual Art GalleryThis week’s artist is Miranda Vavrosky.

According to her bio, she writes:

Miranda Vavrosky is an intuitive artist.

Alchemizing and transmuting energy from within her own emotional body or channeling energy from the collective.

Her art is meant to awaken emotion within you.

To connect your conscious mind to the subconscious aspects that may be harder for you to listen to.

Like a mirror for your internal being, this art is meant to look back on you.

Here are some of her artworks, as well as her own words to describe them:

Covid Dream

Heart racing faster than the wings of a humming bird.

Disassociation at midnight.

Floating feeling but also sinking.

Am I still sleeping? Is reality changing?

I’m trying not to cling to the way things were. The worlds changing us.

Gaia and God are trying to help you see.

Slowing down our chaotic survival by creating chaos that makes us stand still.

 Making us travel within ourselves.

Isn’t it strange to change everything?

Everything from within to create a new external world.

What day is it?

Is this a day that will change humanity?

Are you doing all that you can to heal what the world is forcing you to see?

Are you becoming a virus by not seeing the changes that we need?

Do you want to breathe?

Global warming.

Do you want to breathe?

Injustice

Do you want to breathe?

Sex trafficking

Do you want to breathe?

Do you want to CHANGE?

Do you stand with humanity?

This is the time where we are forced into ourselves to grow.

Do you feel the fear and pain of others?

Weep for them and then rise together

This takes courage.

Edge of Reality

Have you balanced on the edge of a mountain? Have you stood on the thin line between sanity and losing your mind?

When an image enters your eye, it acts like a pinhole camera. The image is actually received upside down.

Perception being mixed up is something we have all experienced. At some point what our reality is VS what their reality is, may be similar but the details aren’t always the same. So are we not all on the edge of madness? Trying to balance between the light and dark, fire and ice, evaporation and rain, the existence of life and death.

Are you receiving reality correctly through that black circle in your eyes?

Does your mind balance the calm and the chaos?

Visionary

This painting was created when I started seeing how Covid, the riots, the protests, the me too, and many other movements are hard. Even painful. They may leave you asking what is going on, you may not believe your eyes.

 Just do not be blind.

Allow yourself to be a visionary.

Let us rise. Let humanity heal the wounds that have been covered up.

If you can pull yourself out of the idea of this pandemic being an attack upon you and use this too see how humanity has failed, how people are lost, how many of us are never able to actually live, but just survive.

Will you be the wings that rise above this or will you remain blind?

Have you been hiding in your comfort zone unable to see the breaking hearts of the others?

Sometimes, a wound has to be torn back open to remove the debris, so that it can heal properly.

We need to help the wounded.

We need to help humanity survive. These are the sounds of angels crying. This is a great awakening.
