This fall, The Midwest Writing Center and the Young Emerging Writers will host Wednesday Night Free Writes: free open writing get togethers every Wednesday in September & October 4-6pm for middle & high school students.

The Midwest Writing Center looking to grow the community of terrific young writers in the QC & help students continue to develop their work.

Need a quiet space to write? Looking to meet other student writers? Wanting feedback on your writing? Come on down & bring friends!

They will have staff on hand to offer writing prompts & activities, lead workshop groups, etc. & on occasion and will have visiting writers & other opportunities (readings, publications, etc.).
