The Quad City Animal Welfare Center Adoption & Education Center is located at 724 W. 2nd Avenue Milan, IL. Hours of operation are: Mon., Wed., Thurs., Fri., & Sat. from noon to 4:00 pm and closed on Sun., & Tues.

Hey guys! It’s Jake… no, not from State Farm. Have you been looking for a fun loving 4 legged companion? Well I’m your guy!

I’m an 11 month old Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix looking for an active home. The QCAWC staff asks that you research my breed since I do exhibit some typical herding behaviors. I guess you could say I’m a people pleaser since staff says I’m a GREAT listener and sooooo smart. I love attention and am happiest when I’m with my people. I do great with other dogs and kids. They say I love kitties too… just way to much, so no kitties for me I suppose. I’d really like to go home with you. Feel free to stop in today! Tell em’ Jake sent ya!
