Low Cut Connie is coming to Davenport’s Raccoon Motel at 10 p.m. Aug. 3!

Over the pandemic the band kept busy with their acclaimed livestream show Tough Cookies (see The New Yorker, NPR’s All Things ConsideredBloombergTablet MagazineThe Philadelphia Inquirer), and in May 2021, released a new album to commemorate it called Tough Cookies: The Best of The Quarantine Broadcasts.

Their latest studio album Private Lives (2020) was praised by Rolling StoneNPR MusicWNYC’s All of ItInsideHookPaste MagMagnet Magazine, and many more including SPIN Magazine who included LCC in their 50 Best Rock Bands Right Now saying Private Lives is “on track to be the roots-rock album of the year. NPR’s Fresh Air said, “Like Bruce Springsteen after he discovered literature, Weiner started bending classic rock to meet his ever more complex emotionalism. The result is that this new 17 track collection Private Lives is Adam Weiner’s version of Born to Run, filled with songs about losers and lovers and beautiful dreamers.”
They also appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s #PlayAtHome series playing the Private Lives track “Help Me.”
