Horror Anthology Film ‘The Driftless’ Screening At Davenport’s Last Picture House
THE DRIFTLESS, a film shot in Iowa and featuring local actors including Justin Marxen and Tristan Tapscott, will be shown at The Last Picture House on September 1. The movie, directed by Tim Connery, has won a number of awards worldwide, and will be making its regional debut in Davenport that day.
The film features four terrifying tales of the macabre Midwest and is described as such on The Driftless (2025) – IMDb: “Deep river valleys, tall limestone bluffs sawing through the sky… thousands of years ago, this unique portion of the Midwest escaped the crushing effects of the giant Ice Age glaciers. But with its scenic beauty, this preserved primal landscape also conceals unimaginable terrors: Mississippi River cults, accursed liquor, time-altering artifacts, and blood-thirsty vengeance from beyond the grave.”
