Fundraiser For Becky Wren Happening Today At Rock Island’s Bent River Brewing
A fundraiser and 40th birthday party for Becky Wren will be held at 3 p.m. today at Bent River Brewing Company, 2117 4th Ave, Rock Island.
According to the event’s Facebook post, “Our daughter, Becky, was diagnosed with Leukemia September 2022. After over a month of multiple amounts of chemo, it was determined she needed bone marrow transplant. Both her brothers tested, Zach was 50% and Josh was 100% match! On February 21, 2023, Josh donated stem cells to his sister. She and her care giver will need to stay in isolation in a hotel near the hospital for 100 days!
