Family Fun and Live Music at “Be Downtown” in Bettendorf Saturday

Downtown Bettendorf will be the place to be on Saturday, June 6, 2026, offering a full day of fun that moves from a family-friendly outdoor festival to an evening of live music throughout downtown Bettendorf.

The day kicks off with a free outdoor festival from noon to 7 p.m. at 15th Street Landing (15th and State streets), featuring live music, food, kids’ activities and entertainment for all ages. In the evening, visitors are encouraged to explore downtown businesses and enjoy live music beginning at 7 p.m. in four local establishments.

“This year, we’re switching things up and offering a family-friendly outdoor festival during the day,” Ryan Jantzi, executive director of the Downtown Bettendorf Organization, said in a release for “Be Downtown.” “At night, we’re encouraging people to patronize our downtown businesses and enjoy live music in several locations.”

Daytime Outdoor Festival Highlights (Noon–7 p.m.)

Festival-goers can enjoy a full lineup of activities throughout the afternoon, including:

  • Live Music in two-hour sets from popular Quad Cities bands Paxton Sherbeyn and the Solid Gold Boys, and Panic River Band
  • Professional Wrestling presented by Honor Among Wrestling starting at 2:15 p.m.
  • Local Vendors Noon–6 p.m.
  • K&K Family Fun Zone (Noon–6 p.m.) featuring bounce houses, bubble stations and hands-on kids’ activities
  • Bags (Cornhole) Tournaments hosted by the 4-City Cornhole Club, at noon and 3 p.m. (On-site registration opens one hour prior to each tournament); Cash prizes per tournament: 1st Place – $300, 2nd Place – $200, 3rd Place – $100

Evening Live Music (Starting at 7 p.m.)

Live music continues after the outdoor festival concludes, with local bands performing inside downtown establishments beginning at 7 p.m.

  • Bulldog Arms – David Lee Paul
  • Harley Corin’s – Rabbit Hole
  • State 18 – Neil McReynolds

Parking Information

Free and convenient parking is available throughout downtown Bettendorf, including:

  • On-street parking on State Street and Grant Street
  • 15th St. & Grant St. (TBK Bank lot) – available after 1 p.m.
  • 18th St. & Mississippi St. (Asbury Methodist Church lot)
  • 18th St. & Grant St. (City of Bettendorf lot)
  • Bettendorf City Hall
  • Designated motorcycle parking on 15th Street

Jonathan Turner -- who has called the Quad Cities home since 1995 -- has decades of experience as a professional journalist and pianist.
