Fiesta Parade Heats Up East MolineHow do you plan to celebrate Mexican Independence Day? If your plans do not include a parade or fiesta, then you need to head to East Moline this weekend!

The LULAC QC Fiesta Week will be held on Sunday Sep 17 in celebration of Mexican Independence Day (Sep 16) in downtown East Moline.

The LULAC QC Fiesta Parade (formerly known as the Mexican Independence Parade) will start at     noon, right along 15th Avenue in East Moline.

Immediately following the parade, the Triumph Bank parking lot (1523 8th Street) will transform into a Fiesta like none other! There will be presentations by the Quad City Ballet Folklorico and the Glenview Mariachi Band. Food vendors will be presenting their best dishes, as well! The party will continue until 9:30 p.m. with music and dancing!

Come celebrate Día de la Independencia and the “cry of independence” this weekend!
