Davenport’s Common Chord Hosts Instrument Donation Drive
Give your old musical instrument a new home… in the hands of a student. With our partners at Pierce’s Promise, Common Chord’s Let’s Band Together program ensures that donated instruments are refurbished and loaned out – FOR FREE – to students who need them.
If you have an old instrument sitting around collecting dust, bring it to Common Chord’s Live at 5 this Friday, June 13, and we’ll make sure it gets into the hands of a student. Live At 5 summer concerts take place in downtown Davenport’s Skybridge Courtyard every Friday from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. through August (no July 4 concert).
Renting or buying instruments is expensive! There are too many schools and students in our community without the resources to acquire their own instruments – and that means they don’t have the chance to experience the joy of music. You can change that!
