On Saturday, October 9th, the Bettendorf Public Library’s Mystery Book Discussion book will explore an international novel of crime and secrecy with its discussion of Dark Echoes of the Past by Ramon Diaz Eterovic. Set in Chile, the book involves a deep seeded mystery Bettendorf Public Library’s mystery book group to dive into an international intriguesurrounding a death with a case closed too soon. The Mystery Book Discussion Group, which is always seeking new members, meets on the second Saturday of each month from September through May. Copies of the book are available at the Information Desk of the Bettendorf Public Library located at 2950 Learning Campus Dr. in Bettendorf. Remote attendance is also available and can be accessed by registering at http://events.bettendorflibrary.com/event/5159384. This event is part of the Bettendorf Public Library’s 2021 Global Gathering program series.

Chilean author Ramon Diaz Eterovic’s writing has won numerous awards. Dark Echoes is his first title to translated into English.
