For many, this will be their first summer without an outdoor concert. The first year in a long time without a festival. The first stretch without them going to see their favorite artist. Smashing Pumpkins Show At Rust Belt Canceled

The Smashing Pumpkins show originally postponed and reset for Oct. 22 at The Rust Belt has now been canceled. The Rust Belt released the following statement today: Due to circumstances outside of our control, we regret to inform you that the Smashing Pumpkins show that was rescheduled for October 22nd at The Rust Belt has been cancelled. Smashing Pumpkins Rust Belt Show Postponed

The Rust Belt has postponed their upcoming Smashing Pumpkins concert, due to concerns about coronavirus and the governor’s mandate. The following statement was released on their facebook page today: In light of recent events with Governor Pritzker announcing a mandated ban on events over 1000 and a requested ban on events over 250 in order to quarantine Covid-19, along with the CDC and the WHO’s recommendations, we will be rescheduling the Smashing Pumpkins show at Rust Belt that is currently scheduled for April 29. Just announced today, The Smashing Pumpkins will bring their Spring Tour 2020 ‘Rock Invasion 2’ to The Rust Belt (533 12th Avenue East Moline) on Wednesday Apr 29.
