Red, White And Boom Illinois/Iowa Fireworks Show Canceled

There won’t be any bi-state fireworks along the river this year. The annual Red, White and Boom fireworks display in downtown Davenport and Rock Island has been canceled due to concerns and regulations tied in with the covid-19 pandemic. The date for next year’s event has been set for July 3, 2021. According to the event’s facebook, “Red, White and Boom always has been a bi-state event, and in the spirit of regionalism, we felt it was the right thing to do to move the event to a time when both states can participate.”  Read More

The 4th of July is right around the corner. This means cook-outs, parades, concerts and FIREWORKS! The Quad Cities’ largest 4th of July celebration, Red White and Boom, is happening this Tuesday Jul 3 from 5-10 p.m. This bi-state event will have activities and entertainment on both sides of the river! Red White and Boom Explodes Across The River This Weekend

The Quad-Cities explodes across the Mississippi River with one heck of a party planned for America’s birthday – Red, White and Boom. The free annual festival spans the Iowa and Illinois riverfronts with events at Davenport’s LeClaire Park and Modern Woodmen Park and Rock Island’s Schwiebert Park on Sunday, July 3.
