Paintings by Holly Kimball & Brad Bisbey, with wood sculptures by Jay Stratton will be exhibited at Quad City Arts Gallery, Rock Island Feb. 2-March 23. There’s an opening reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 2 at the gallery, in the District, Rock Island. The event is free. Join a variety of local artists and makers this Sunday, September 10th  for the fourth monthly installment of the 2017 Rock Island Artists‘ Market. Over 20 vendors selling art, hand-crafted goods and more will be set up in the parking lot of Skeleton Key Art and Antiques at 520 18th Street, Rock Island. Bucktown is always a hot spot for fun and enlightening local arts programming, but this Friday, it’s going to be even more so. The Davenport venue at 225 E 2nd St, Davenport, is holding a special show, the Bucktown Bash, from 6 to 10 to raise money for programing, operating expenses, and advertising for MidCoast Fine Arts.
