LeClaire Community Library Undergoing Renovations In February

The LeClaire Community Library will be recarpeted and painted in February 2024, with preparations underway now. This project will result in a unified color palette throughout the building, and better flow and flexibility in the library space. It was financed by the City of LeClaire, with assistance from the Friends of LeClaire Community Library. This project is also the recipient of a Hubbell-Waterman Foundation grant in the amount of $5000, to purchase new furniture for the Children’s Area. Come see FLOTSAM! River Circus in Le Claire, IA on August 23rd! FLOTSAM! is a troupe of musicians, circus artists, and puppeteers traveling on a handmade raft, giving free performances in riverfront towns along the way. The 33rd Annual Tug Fest is happening in Port Byron, Illinois and LeClaire, Iowa this weekend!
