Quad-Cities artist Jon Burns is excited to announce “Famous Moliners” from #artofjonburns a series of portraits and small biographical information created for the Moline 150 Sesquicentennial Celebration happening at the end of the month in downtown Moline. After a three year hiatus, Lowland Block Party returns for its fourth edition 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3 at the Laborspace, 311 21st St., Rock Island. Local Artist Jon Burns Donating Proceeds From Art Sales To Black Lives Matter

One of my favorite local artists, Jon Burns, will be helping out the Black Lives Matter movement by donating 50 percent of proceeds from sales of his artwork in his current gallery to the movement. Pieces will be marked as sold when paid for and can be picked up by appointment at my living room window in downtown Moline.
