Sydney Johnson’s dramatic black-and-white drawings and colorful abstract paintings are on display at the latest Taste of Q-C Art at Taste Buds, 1629 2nd Ave., Rock Island (in the District, across from Bennigans). The colorful art of Sydney Johnson decorates the walls June 23 through July 6, and Heather Nobiling’s book, “Life Sucks,” will be on hand for sale during that time.
