Believe in the Power of Art for Community Identity!

The Quad Cities Community is as unique and eclectic as many large cities but with different geographical attributes. It serves as a cultural hub that is united by the Mississippi River. This practice is economically benefiting our local community members and adding flair to tourism and recognizing the QCA as a cultural and vibrant destination point. It is this partnership that can also build a competitive advantage while assisting in advancing... Read More

The purpose of the anti-bullying initiative, which was kicked off in November 2012, is to recognize the worth of all Q-C community members and to practice showing respect and... Read More

Creative Living at its Best

April 26th, 2016

When I was asked to be a contributing writer for www.QuadCities.com and create articles about art, I was elated and overwhelmed with the possibilities of topics. Art is such a broad and beautiful beast of tradition, progressiveness, creative conundrums and evolving expression. Would I talk about the benefits of art? That in itself is a novel of information when sharing the emotional, developmental, social, educational, and holistic and economic benefits. Or would I address all the art happenings that are currently and in the future about to be presented in the Quad Cities? Perhaps I would interview... Read More
