The Davenport Community School district approved two new staff members to be added to the DCSD administrative team at the School Board Meeting March 27. Brian Ehlinger has been added as Principal of Davenport Central High School and Diane Campbell will be Director of Learning and Results at the Administrative Service Center (ASC). Davenport Community School District Elementary Schools NorthPark Mall Art Exhibit is going on through March 6th! There will be 14 sets of two-sided panels are set up in the NorthPark Mall between Rue 21 & Express Men, half-way between JC Penny and Von Maur. Iowa Students Encouraged To Apply For Thomas K. Evans Memorial Scholarship

The application period for the Thomas K. Evans Memorial Scholarship is now open! The scholarship is a merit-based, one-time gift for new college entrants pursuing education in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Every year, the scholarship awards one local Quad-Cities student $5,000 to pursue their education. Applications are due by Monday, Feb. 27, 2023. Late applications will not be accepted. Davenport School Students Learn About Holocaust From Survivor In Interactive Program

On Tuesday, January 24, 2023 all 8th grade students at the Davenport Community School District participated in an hour-long once in a lifetime international virtual presentation with Holocaust survivor Sol Nayman from Canada. This educational experience was interactive, allowing students to submit questions prior to the presentation so that Sol could answer them. All 5 of our Junior High schools participated in this incredible experience as Sol Nayman entered their classrooms via Google Meet. Over 1,000 participants listened to the life story of one of the last Holocaust survivors still living.... Read More

The Davenport Community School District’s 70th Annual Holiday Concert, is TONIGHT! The concert is being held at the beautiful and historic Adler Theatre on Tuesday, November 29, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The concert features the Central, North, and West high school music department.
