Davenport Public Library Offers Films On Demand

The Davenport Public Library is pleased to announce the addition of Kanopy to our digital offerings. Kanopy provides access to movies that can be streamed on-demand. Feature films, classic movies, foreign films and documentaries can be viewed. Kanopy Kids has a selection of educational and entertainment content for children ages 2-8. Parental controls may be set up. Many of The Great Courses can be subscribed to, as well. Once you start a Great Course, you have 30 days to complete it. Davenport Library cardholders may logon using their library card number and their password/pin for their account.... Read More

The Davenport Public Library is excited to offer the annual WinterReading Program! From January 1 to January 31, Davenport Public Library will be participating in Beanstack’sFifth Annual Winter Reading Challenge, sponsored by Lerner Publishing Group. In this webinar on Thursday, December 16th at 6:00 pm, Leo highlights stories and artifacts from the exhibition “Iowa’s People and Places,” which opened at the State Historical Museum of Iowa in Des Moines on March 5, 2021.
