Garfield Elementary in Davenport, has recruited high school students to provide online homework help to elementary students. The high-schoolers are called the Gator-Aides, after Garfield’s alligator mascot. The Davenport Community School District’s Band Spectacular is happening this Tuesday Oct 9 at Brady Street Stadium (3560 N Brady St. Davenport). The fun begins at 7 p.m. This tradition spans over 50 years and showcases amazing performances from Davenport West, North and Central High Schools, as well as district intermediate bands.
