‘Tonight Show’ Comedian Jeff Dye Performing At Davenport’s Tomfoolery on Tremont Sunday

The “Tomfoolery on Tremont” standup comedy series at Davenport’s Renwick Mansion will host Jeff Dye in two shows Sunday night, at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tables for two are $30 and tables of four are $55 for the 38-year-old Seattle native, who is a nationally touring comedian, actor, host, prankster and Bigfoot enthusiast. Dye started doing comedy at Giggles Comedy Club right out of high school and was first nationally recognized on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” where he finished third after only three years into his comedy career. Comedy Returns to Davenport’s Renwick Mansion Friday

After more than two months since their last stand-up comedy show, the “Tomfoolery on Tremont” series will return with two shows – this Friday and Jan. 22 at the Renwick Mansion, 901 Tremont Ave., Davenport. “They’re great comics, just not really big names,” Chris Schlichting of Davenport, comedian and organizer of the series, said recently. “We are just excited to get back to some comedy.” The first show since Brett Terhune on Nov. 7, 2020 will be Geoffrey Asmus on Friday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., who Schlichting described as one of their favorites. Big laughs for a great cause ring out in Muscatine Saturday

Getting your laughs on for a good cause is a win for everyone involved, and Cyndi Hartley is hoping to bring those positive vibes to Muscatine Saturday night as the Muscatine Society of Freethinkers will present a comedy and music show entitled Passing Notes: a Benefit for Flickinger Learning Center. The event will be upstairs at Boonies on Iowa Avenue.
