Mike Bawden Joins TAG As Sr. Vice President of Marketing & Brand Strategy

Davenport, IA. – TAG, a leading advertising, branding, and digital media agency in Davenport, Iowa, welcomes Mike Bawden as its new Sr. Vice President of Marketing & Brand Strategy. Bawden, the former president of Bawden & Associates, brings decades of experience working with clients nationwide on brand-building and marketing issues.

He has extensive experience producing brand stories and entertainment programming, through his production company, Imagination Connoisseurs Unlimited.

A marketing professional with over 40 years of experience, Mike started working as an errand boy in his family’s advertising agency while still in high school. After graduating from Southern Methodist University in 1984 with a BFA in Television/Radio and Film Production, he began his professional advertising career at a small ad agency in Dallas, Texas, before returning to Davenport to work for Bawden & Associates, purchasing the company and taking over as its CEO and President a decade later.

In 1999, Mike worked with other agency principals from around the world to re-structure the ECCO International Public Relations Network, providing global public relations and marketing support services to multinational clients.

Mike’s experience also includes time as an adjunct professor of marketing and advertising at St. Ambrose University and Augustana College as well as being a featured speaker and presenter at several national and international conferences on branding and brand management.

Mike has four children, a multitude of hobbies, a passion for jazz, an interest in history and a very understanding wife.
