Does Bettendorf Community School District have an emotional support dog?

You bet they do, and he’s a cutie!

Meet Ernie, the new BCSD Therapy Dog. Thanks to a generous gift from the Give Like Charly Foundation, which is funded in memory of BHS ’22 grad Charly Erpelding, Ernie will join the BCSD Therapy Dog Program to support staff and students all around BCSD.

Charly was known for her positive mindset and being a wonderful friend to all and that is exactly Ernie’s purpose in his job. Ernie will be working all around BCSD with Mrs. Hoyt, he’s headed to BMS to start his day on Monday. He’ll also be working at BHS with Mr. Hoyt!
