One of the most requested spots I’ve had here, Van’s Pizza, Pub & Grill had some hidden treats to offer. While the Taco Pizza didn’t score high, I’m giving this place some respect and high praise. The article “Searching for our Mississippi” by Edward Robert McClelland details his five- day adventure along the Mississippi River in Illinois from East Dubuque to Cairo. The photographs by David Kasnic beautifully captures their journey. McClelland and Kasnic visited Rock Island and Moline in April 2023.
