Andrzej Kozlowski, a pianist from Rock Island’s Sound Conservatory, will perform a free concert at the Rock Island Public Library Watts-Midtown Branch auditorium on Thursday, August 17. Originally scheduled for a previous date, the concert will feature works by Polish composer Frédéric François Chopin. The concert is from 6 pm to 7 pm at 2715 30th Street. Summer is on our doorstep and the Bettendorf Public Library is set to celebrate with the return of its wildly popular Summer Concert Series. The Muscatine Area Farmers Market is inviting the public to join them at their 30th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, August 12 from 7:30am-11:30am! In addition to the regular market, located at 3rd and Cedar Street, a portion of 3rd Street will also be blocked off to accommodate multiple food trucks, kids’ activities, and music by Frankie Joe & Kinfolk.
