The Quad City Storm has signed defenseman Kyle Pouncy to a training camp contract. Pouncy is a native of Kamloops, British Columbia and played last season for ECHL Wichita and FPHL Carolina before ending the season with the SPHL’s Knoxville Ice Bears. Shane Bennett will return to the Quad Cities this season for his third with the Storm. A 29-year-old forward from Langley, British Columbia, Shinkaruk has more than 50 games of SPHL experience with the Evansville Thunderbolts and Huntsville Havoc and most recently played with FPHL Elmira during the 2021-2022 season.  In Elmira he tallied 8 goals and 24 assists to lead the league in scoring.  Read More

MOLINE, IL-The Quad City Storm has signed goaltender Peter Di Salvo to a training camp contract.  Di Salvo is an original member of the Quad City Storm and the all-time winningest goalie in SPHL history.   During the Storm’s abbreviated 2019-2020 season Di Salvo recorded nine wins and a save percentage of .925.  Read More

The Quad City Storm will open the 2021-2022 season Friday October 15th, 2021 at the TaxSlayer Center.  The game will be the first for the Storm since Sunday March 8th, 2020 and will end a 505 day stretch without professional hockey in the Quad Cities.
