MACOMB/Moline, IL – -The Western Illinois University School of Music faculty will present a Woodwind Christmas Concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10 on the WIU-QC campus in the Building C Atrium and at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11 on the Macomb campus in the Macomb Art Center.

WIU’s Woodwind Faculty will perform works by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Leroy Anderson along with other classic christmas carols. The Nutcracker Suite is the main feature of the ensemble and details main pieces from the ballet.

Refreshments will be provided. This performance is free and open to the public, and everyone in the WIU community is welcome to enjoy the spread of holiday cheer through the sound of music.
