Visit Quad Cities, the region’s official destination management and marketing organization, announces the launch of the new QC Pro. This fun and interactive program leads Quad Citizens on a journey of discovery about all things Quad Cities.

You can earn a Quad Cities Pro badge by becoming a brand champion for our area.

To get started, people can register at QuadCitiesPro.com. Once registered, Visit Quad Cities will send three videos emailed in succession to view and answer interactive questions about the QC right within each video, according to a Wednesday release. After the three videos are completed correctly, a QC Pro digital badge, toolkit, and certificate will be emailed. Additionally, a QC Pro certificate and Quad Cities Destination Guide will be mailed to you.

Visit Quad Cities will also be releasing new QC Pro Levels over the next several months for the QC Advanced Pro and QC Elite Pro. The new levels will involve scavenger hunts and challenge-based activities, introducing participants to attractions, history, arts, food, drink, and more. Everyone who is registered and has completed the QC Pro level will be notified by email when these new levels launch.

to positively impact the in-destination experience by becoming QC brand champions. Pride in the community and a welcoming spirit are essential to making visitors feel at home and effectively sharing our unique QC story.

“It is imperative that we continually invest in building local brand champions for tourism and the Quad-Cities regional destination,” said Dave Herrell, President and CEO, Visit Quad Cities. “The QC Pro initiative is a key component to an intentional and broader strategy of creating a standard of excellence with service delivery within the destination space. Soon we will launch our Certified Tourism Ambassador program as well which will create further opportunities to enhance the visitor experience. We encourage all Quad Citizens to try our QC Pro platform and get further involved with tourism.”

As part of the Tourism Master Plan, one of the significant goals is destination promotion, which includes engaging Quad Citizens to build resident pride, improve “bragability,” and activate destination champions. Becoming a thriving visitor destination starts with a proud resident mindset, according to Visit Quad Cities.

“Tourism is critical to our regional visitor economy. It supports small businesses, jobs, essential public services, and quality of life amenities,” the release says. “Becoming an even more successful visitor destination starts with our Quad Citizens.” Get started being a QC Pro by registering at QuadCitiesPro.com.
