Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse, Rock Island, is seeking online submissions to fill roles for their spring smash hit, “Mamma Mia!”

The songs of the pop group ABBA provide the score for this romantic comedy that contrasts the dreams and desires of a young woman about to become a bride with those of her mother, a free spirit of the ’70s who never married. Production dates, including rehearsals, are April 27–July 8.

Character breakdown and requirements can be found at circa21.com/auditions. Those interested in being considered should submit a resume and headshot, a verse and chorus of a song from the show or a song in similar style, a short contemporary comic monologue and include a dance reel, if applicable.

All roles in this professional production are paid.

Questions and submissions should be sent to producer Denny Hitchcock at dpjh@circa21.com no later than Jan.20.
