This concert is free and a freewill offering will be accepted. Centennial Hall is located at 3703 7th Avenue in Rock Island and the concert will run from 8:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. You can view the facebook event page at this link: https://www.facebook.com/events/1870467176517772/.

I was able to interview Sophomore Julia Fraterrigo on what the Symphonic Band will be performing in Spain and at the concert. “We are playing “The Cowboys” by John Williams, “Symphonic Dances from West Side Story” by Leonard Bernstein, “Rest” by Frank Ticheli, “Fiesta Del Pacifico” by Roger Nixon, and “The White Rose March” by John Philip Sousa. This is our music for Spain but I believe it will be the same for the home concert,” said Julia.

When I asked her what she was most excited about for Spain and how that will carry over to the  concert, she responded with: “I am excited to have the opportunity to play my instrument, the clarinet, overseas with my band family. I hope all our hard practice and experience after playing in Spain will make our home concert in March great!” Come and listen to these talented musicians do what they love.
