This summer, join WQPT for the Summer of Adventure Tour! WQPT PBS is making guest appearances at libraries throughout the region during early childhood story time and at other events throughout the community. Your family will have the opportunity to watch a PBS KIDS program, listen to a story, and do a fun craft activity. PLUS, each child will receive a PBS KIDS Summer Activity booklet and tools that will allow you access to free online resources on PBS KIDS.

Communities we’re visiting include Cambridge, Clinton, Colona, Cordova, Davenport, Dixon, East Moline, Eldridge, Galesburg, Geneseo, Le Claire, Macomb, Maquoketa, Moline, Monmouth, Morrison, Muscatine, Port Byron, Rock Island, Sherrard, Silvis, and Sterling.

As a public media service of Western Illinois University, WQPT PBS actively serves a diverse audience throughout the West Central Illinois and Eastern Iowa region. Our educational programming prepares children for success in school and opens up the world to them in an age-appropriate way. We extend beyond the 2,271 hours of educational children’s programming we broadcast over-the-air to include in-person outreach, that complements our programming.
