Quad City Interfaith Breakfast Being Served Up
The Quad City Interfaith Breakfast will be serving up their 12th annual fundraising breakfast from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Thursday, at 3420 Jersey Ridge Rd, Davenport.
Two Options are available this year.
Option 1: We will have Drive thru pick up available from 7:00am to 8:30am at Edwards Church 3420 Jersey Ridge Rd. Davenport, IA 52807
Option 2: We will also offer deliveries. Delivery will be available from 7am to 10am. Please email email@example.com to get on the delivery list.
This event will showcase out work as people of faith to transform our world and establish justice as you drive through.
Guest will be asked to make a charitable contribution to support Quad Cities Interfaith’s mission!
Donovan Coming To Mayne Street
Donovan Gustafson is bringing his acoustic magic to Mayne St. Pub and Grub, 202 W. Mayne Street, Blue Grass.

Toxic Blonde Rocking Into Hawkeye Tap
Toxic Blonde makes their debut at Hawkeye Sports Bar & Grill, 4646 Cheyenne Ave., Davenport!

Winter Nights Winter Lights Lights Up Botanical Center
Winter Nights Winter Lights begins lighting up the Quad City Botanical Center, 2525 4th Ave., Rock Island, this weekend!
From Nov. 19 to Jan. 10, every night from 4 to 9 p.m. the outdoor gardens will be in winter bloom with over 130,000 glowing lights. Showcasing our largest light display yet, new areas of our outdoor gardens will be lit, including the Children’s Garden.
Explore the lawns, pond and pocket gardens of our outdoor light exhibit.
Open Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and the night of New Year’s Day. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
A small processing fee will be added to all tickets.
All events have limited capacity and are subject to change based on state mandates governing public health.

Enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner At Martin Luther King Center
Martin Luther King Center, 630 9th St., Rock Island, is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner.
Enjoy a delicious, free Thanksgiving meal. All are welcome!
Thanksgiving at the King Center will be a bit different this year. We will provide delivery and curb-side pickup for three days (November 20-22). There will be no dine-in service this year.

KWQC-TV6 Bringing Festival Of Trees To TV This Year
We are bringing the magic of Festival to you this year! Tune into the Festival of Trees Holiday Special on KWQC-TV6 on November 21 at 10 am to kick off the season with us. This first-ever Festival experience will include CenterStage performances, Festival memories, and interviews – plus, a chance to learn more about how you can make a difference by supporting Festival of Trees Day of Giving. And of course, hear a message from Santa himself!
Spread holiday cheer by supporting the arts and making a gift to the Festival of Trees Day of Giving campaign. Festival of Trees provides funding support for Quad City Arts programs like the Visiting Artist Series, Metro Arts Youth Apprenticeship, public sculpture, and more. Without the main event this year, we are relying on the support of our community to help us continue to expand programming into the future.
Teen Anime Day Going Virtual
The annual Teen Anime Day is going virtual! All Teens ages 11-19 are invited to register for a special Teen Anime Day To Go activity kit and to attend a special Zoom party with the Davenport Public Library, the Figge Art Museum and special guest, “JAPANNA” anna ito, founder at Japan Shinzen Art and Culture International! Each Teen Anime Day To Go kit will include cups of ramen, tea, and candy sushi supplies plus some simple crafts, drawing activities, and swag. Registered teens will be invited to attend a virtual Teen Anime Day on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 1:00pm featuring a live trivia contest with prizes, greeting-card-making featuring Japanese calligraphy and creative-ZEN meditation, group drawing activities, demonstrations of the crafts and snacks included in the kit, and more! This kit is expected to be available for pickup Friday, Nov. 13 and will be held through Wednesday, November 25. You will receive an email when your box is ready to be picked up. Kits not picked up by end of day on Wednesday, November 25, will be made available for those on the waitlist or for outreach. Mandela Effect Making Local Debut At Gypsy Highway
The Mandela Effect is coming to Gypsy Highway, 2606 W. Locust St., Davenport, making their area debut!
Please make welcome for their first appearance at The Gypsy Highway, The Mandela Effect from Cedar Rapids Iowa. The Mandela Effect plays a wide variety of classic and timeless tunes from the 60s, 70s, 80s and beyond. We play songs you’ll remember, but not the way you remember them! Some of our favorite bands to cover are The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Who, Cream, Blind Faith, The Doors, WAR, Dr. Hook, Savoy Brown, Bill Withers, Billy Preston, George Benson, The Police, ZZ Top and TaLkInG HeAdS. Our primary goal is to help create lasting musical memories for our guests that are REAL!

Virtual Writers Studio Scribbling In On Saturday
The Virtual Writers Studio hosted by Ryan Collins and the Midwest Writing Center will scribble in online from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Writer’s Studio will be meeting virtually in the private Facebook Group listed below at the regular time (1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, 11am-1pm).
Writer’s Studio regulars or anyone interested in sharing and discussing their work in a constructive space, we’ve started a private group on Facebook for writers to connect while not meeting in-person.

Karpeles Museum Holding Painting Party
A painting party will be held at Karpeles Museum, 700 22nd St., Rock Island, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22.
Join us at the Karpeles Museum for a fun day of painting!
I will guide you through each and every step of this beautiful fall landscape as you let your creativity flow! No experience is needed.
