viva-qc-logo-picIt’s about to get muy caliente for those looking for fun this weekend.

That’s because Viva Quad Cities Fiesta will be held from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Isle of Capri parking lot, Bettendorf.
Kids under 12 get in for free and for adults it’s just $5 to check out the trademark fiesta for the QC Latino community for over 20 years. It’s a  fun-filled day of food, music, a Kid & Teen Zone, a baby photo contest, the LULAC Queen presentation and much more.

Entertainment includes Quad Cities Ballet Folklorico, Glenview Mariachi Band, Mariachi Campirano, QC Santana Tribute Band, Los Mocambos, Crooked Cactus Band, Conjunto La Razon and Grupo Instinto.

Through a partnership with the Moline LULAC Council 5285, Davenport LULAC Council 10, and the Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, VIVA’s Mission is to raise monies, through solicitation of funds and various fund raising activities, particularly the VIVA Quad Cities Fiesta, for the purpose of offering scholarships to assist local area students who would not otherwise be able to continue or pursue higher education.
