Something that’ll make you smile, make you laugh, make you reminisce, and make you realize that back in the day, music video creators were probably either insane or heavily intoxicated. But were also incredibly entertaining.

Our latest video is one from a Chicago band which zoomed to prominence during the alt-rock ’90s with a great sound, cool videos, and a fun live show.

Veruca Salt made a number of great videos and albums during that decade, and played the Quad-Cities a couple of times during the grunge and post-grunge days. I got to interview them a few times, and hung out with them and they were always cool, among one of the most fun interviews I had during those times. Great band.

This video was their first big breakthrough, and one which nicely encapsulates the band’s sound of grungy pop and their playful personality in the fun and snarky lyrics and the goofball video. It’s a fun video, and one certainly worth watching again.
