In this series, one of our reference librarians will attempt to Baking From Books Presented by the Davenport Public Library Saturdaymake dessert recipes drawn from beloved fiction books. They’ll also recommend the books and media which inspired the recipes, available from our Rivershare libraries. Packets with the recipes and tips will be available at all three branches, and videos will be posted on Davenport Public Library’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/c/DavPubLib Saturday mornings at 8:30 am.


September 4th: Chocolate hockey pucks in honor of Beartown by Fredrik Backman.

September 18th: Blackberry ice cream in honor of House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Clune.

September 25th: Lembas from Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien.
