Listen we get it. You’re tired of talking about COVID. So are we.

Guess who else is tired to it?
HEALTHCARE WORKERS

Morale is at an all time low for all healthcare workers. They are working a crazy amount of hours. Nurses are quitting due to burnout. Healthcare workers are getting abused and overworked every single day.

What was supposed to be a short pandemic has turned into a marathon. And the big wigs at @trinityhealthfoundation and @genesishealthsystem both agree that the healthcare workers at all of the facilities could use a little love.

And I think there’s one thing we can agree on: no matter what side of the COVID coin you fall, healthcare workers have been working their butts off and could use a little love.

So to thank them for their two years of service through this pandemic we are opening up our ADOPT A HEALTHCARE WORKER program again!

According to the powers that be at Trinity and Genesis, because of the high volume of Omicron patients right now, nurses are not getting a lunch break. They need something they can grab and go in between patients so they can continue to care for the critically ill patients.

This is where we ALL come in…

Here’s how it works: the community can go online or call us and tell us how many healthcare workers they’d like to “adopt.” For $10/a worker, Oh So Sweet will make and deliver individually boxed lunch vouchers (as to not spread the Omicron virus) consisting on one of our Oh So Sweet sandwiches, a giant cookie, chips and a pickle.

All “adoptions” need to be placed by 5 pm Saturday, February 12 with voucher delivery on Valentines Day!

Click on ORDER FOOD in bio and click on ADOPT A NURSE. Click on how many nurses you’d like to support, click on Tuesday for delivery, and we’ll make it get it to the people who need it to continue their very important job.

Or download the Oh So Sweet app to do the same thing. Or call us at 563-345-9866 and we’ll take your ADOPTION over the phone.

Let’s all show the healthcare workers that we haven’t forgotten about them! And that we appreciate everything they’ve done for us and the community!

Tristan Layne Tapscott has been dubbed the “Quad Cities’ P.T. Barnum” and although the person who initially said it meant it as an insult, he happily accepts the title.
