Mondays can be rough.

A Video You Deserve For The Voices In Your HeadAnd so, every Monday, we give you a music video.

A fun, funny music video. Something that’ll make you smile, make you laugh, make you reminisce, and make you realize that back in the day, music video creators were probably either insane or heavily intoxicated.

But were also incredibly entertaining.

We call this feature, The Video You Deserve, and you can find it every Monday on your site for fun, free entertainment and features, QuadCities.com.

Our latest video is one which was a huge hit back in the late ’70s, featuring two of the members of the biggest band of the late ’70s.

Walter Egan had a few minor hits in his career, but his biggest was undeniably this one, which featured vocals by Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac, who were riding high — literally and figuratively, considering the amount of cocaine they were allegedly doing — on the success of “Rumours,” the best-selling album of all-time up to that point in history, and its follow up, “Tusk.”

This tune went all the way to the top ten, undoubtedly helped by Egan’s snazzy dressing in this video and his mega-cool sleek jacket, which you can gaze upon in all its glory here.

So, enjoy this week’s Video You Deserve, “Magnet and Steel,” from Walter Egan…
