MACOMB/MOLINE, IL – Mandatory weekly testing remains in place for Western Illinois University faculty, staff and students* who are unvaccinated and who are physically on WIU’s campuses. Testing is held on the Macomb and Quad Cities campuses. Surveillance testing has been discontinued at this time. Protocols, including testing, face coverings and other measures, could change depending on circumstances and health guidance. Western Illinois University Releases New COVID-19 Test/Vaccination Protocols

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL – As Western Illinois University prepares to start the Spring 2022 semester, all members of the University community (vaccinated and unvaccinated) are encouraged to complete a COVID-19 test before returning to WIU’s campuses (individuals who had COVID-19 in the last 90 days do not need to test). COVID-19 test clinics will be available on both campuses as well.
