MACOMB, IL – Two Western Illinois University professors, who are members of the McDonough County League of Women Voters, are bringing voter registration information to the WIU community. Anthropology Professor Heather McIlvaine-Newsad and Political Science Professor Julia Albarracin are teaching students how to register to vote. Davenport Public Library Holding Voter Registration Day

September 22nd is National Voter Registration Day and the Davenport Public Library can help you become a registered voter. Come to any of our three branches and fill out a voter registration form. The Scott County Auditor’s Office will pick up the form, verify it, and send you your voter registration card. If you can’t make it to the Library on September 22nd, the voter registration forms are available every day.
