The Davenport Public Library is pleased to host the “Toward a Universal Suffrage: African American Women in Iowa and the Vote for All” traveling exhibit beginning September 1st through October 15th at the Main Library (321 N. Main). The exhibit honors and celebrates the contributions of African American women in Iowa to the women’s suffrage movement.
