It’s great news for the Iowa Tugfest, not so good for the Illinois side, as due to covid-19 restrictions, Illinois has had to cancel all of their Tugfest activities for 2020. For the thirtieth year, Iowa and Illinois will be locked in a mighty battle across the Mississippi. Nope, this doesn’t involve the zipper merge. It’s time for Tugfest again. Tugfest will take place Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 11-13, along the LeClaire, Iowa and Port Byron, Illinois riverfronts.
