Botanical Center Seeking Storytellers to Feature in New Plants of the World Exhibit

The Quad City Botanical Center is seeking storytellers to contribute to their newest exhibit, Plants of the World: People Behind the Plants. This new, unique exhibit is being designed to capture stories of Quad Citizens from around the world – who now call the Quad Cities home. Our tropical Sun Garden houses hundreds of varieties of tropical plants from around the world, and they have the potential to tell meaningful stories about the people that enjoy them. BREAKING: Ryan Wille Named New Executive Director of Quad City Botanical Center

Ryan Wille, a former marketing manager of Quad City Botanical Center, has been chosen next executive director of the Rock Island-based nonprofit, succeeding Ami Porter. A 2009 graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, Wille was the marketing manager at QCBC (2525 4th Ave., Rock Island) from March 2016 to October 2018, and since then has been development manager of the Humane Society of Scott County. “Ryan, he is a great leader.
