The FRIENDS of the Davenport Public Library Announce Buy One Get One Free Sale

The FRIENDS of the Davenport Public Library Bookstore at the Eastern Ave. Library (6000 Eastern Ave.) will be holding a buy one get one free sale on Saturday, July 24th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Plus, all items at the Eastern Ave. Bookstore will be 50 cents and under that day only, with special items for sale including over 500 comic books at $1.00 each, or 20 for $10 and many beautiful book sets. Kick off Summer Reading 2021: Reading Colors Your World by helping us color our world outside the library! We’ll bring the chalk; you bring the creativity! Sign up for a 1-hour time slot on Saturday, June 19th between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm at either our Eastern Ave. or Fairmount St. branches to decorate your assigned parking spot with a recreation of a book cover, an inspirational quote, or a silly sketch.
