Botanical Center Seeking Storytellers to Feature in New Plants of the World Exhibit

The Quad City Botanical Center is seeking storytellers to contribute to their newest exhibit, Plants of the World: People Behind the Plants. This new, unique exhibit is being designed to capture stories of Quad Citizens from around the world – who now call the Quad Cities home. Our tropical Sun Garden houses hundreds of varieties of tropical plants from around the world, and they have the potential to tell meaningful stories about the people that enjoy them. Storyteller and librettist Charlotte Blake Alston will be in residence through Feb. 23, thanks to Quad City Arts’ Visiting Artist Series. Charlotte Blake Alston is a nationally acclaimed storyteller, narrator, instrumentalist, librettist and singer who performs in venues throughout North America and abroad.
