Scott County Iowa Genealogical Society and the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center of the Davenport Public Library invite you to their monthly meeting Monday, November 1st at 6:30 pm. November’s presentation will be a talk by Michael Schmidt called “Oddities of the Lincoln Assassination.” Schmidt is a retired teacher of history and theater from Moline’s United Township High School.
