Leslie Vernon himself, Nathan Baesel, will appear at Midwest Monster Fest Sept. 5-6 at East Moline’s Rust Belt! Baesel graduated from the Juilliard School of Drama. One of his best known roles is in the horror/comedy cult classic as the titular character; Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. The following year, she guest-starred as Susan Fryman on the ABC sitcom Growing Pains. The Rust Belt has postponed their upcoming Smashing Pumpkins concert, due to concerns about coronavirus and the governor’s mandate.
