The Codfish Hollow world according to GARP is one populated by an incredibly diverse and cool array of bands, and you’ll get to explore this brave new sonic location this weekend for the first GARP festival. The debut GARP gig takes place beginning at 4 p.m. Sept. 9 and noon Sept. 10 at Codfish Hollow, 5013 288th Ave., Codfish Hollow, Maquoketa, Iowa.
