WIU Wind Ensemble to Perform Virtually Sept. 26

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University School of Music will present the WIU Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Professor of Music and Director of Bands Mike Fansler, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. The ensemble will be divided into several chamber groups (for social distancing) and present chamber pieces by composers Philip Sparke, Gordon Jacob, Vaclav Nelhybel, Arthur Bird and WIU Professor of trombone and euphonium John Mindeman.
