The weather is starting to warm up and camping season is just around the corner! Which means it is time for the QCCA Expo Center (2621 4th Ave Rock Island) to transform into an enormous showroom for the latest models of motorhomes, trailers, toy haulers, 5th wheels and other recreational vehicles. That’s right, it’s time for the 2017 RV and Camping Show! This year’s event will take place on Friday Feb 24 (12pm-8pm), Saturday Feb 25 (10am-8pm) and Sunday Feb 26 (10am-4pm). The Outdoor Show Comes to Rock Island This Weekend! This event features a variety of resources for anyone interested in the great outdoors. A large number of hunting, fishing and boating vendors will be on hand as well as representatives from charters, resorts, government agencies and conservation clubs.  A kids camp area will also be available with an archery range, trout fishing pond, minnow races and more. In a storied history that began as a Sash and Door Works, traveled through time as a notorious Millwork company, was decimated multiple times by fire and then finally rebuilt as the edifice today known as the QCCA Expo Center, the building at 2621 4th Avenue in Rock Island has seen its share of muddled and magnificent local lore.
