Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17), a member of the powerful House Appropriations Committee, announced that the Quad Cities International Airport will receive more than $1.2 million in funding through the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Improvement Program. The Quad Cities International Airport reached a pandemic-era high with 42,881 travelers during the month of May. This marks the highest number of travelers through the airport since February 2020.
